Jordan's Opening act of HSM:The Concert
"So, I went to sd's hsm opening night. I have to say it was FUN. Even for me at 16, I think it was chill. Jordan Pruitt was the opening act & she did so great.When she opened up, she had this like southern sweetness in her. It was cool. I wanted to scream but obviously didn't. She introduced herself to the audience & sang her first song which was "Jump To The Rhythm". That was the first time I heard the song & loved it. It was very upbeat & Jordan did a good job. (You can hear a clip of it on's Jordan's myspace video) Then she sang a couple more songs from her album & "Teenager", "Outside Looking In", & finally "We Are Family". After the songs, she promoted her website & music & her act was finished. So, go buy her album when it comes out on February 6th, 2007!!"

"Jordan Pruitt, who warmed up the stage for Disney's High School Musical at Key Arena, has a face and personality that is made for the movies. Her five song set previewed material form her upcoming CD, "No Ordinary Girl," which comes out on February 6th. One can hear a little Nelly Furtado in her voice, as well as some Vanessa Carlton, but her style is all her own. Singing to backing tracks in front of a curtain upon which a publicity photo was hung, Pruitt had no trouble winning over the crowd of young teenagers filling the Key. She hopped, skipped, and jumped her way back and forth across the stage while singing songs about teenage aienation. At the end, she got everybody to stand up and sing with her on "We Are Family," commenting on what a great world this would be if we all had this many brothers and sisters."
